Lightmate is a straightforward light meter application designed specifically for photographers. The user interface prioritizes clarity, ensuring an intuitive experience.
Key Features:
- Aperture and shutter priority modes
- Multiple EV scales (accessible in iOS Settings > Lightmate)
- Support for both front and back cameras
Instructions:
- Select the appropriate ISO, Aperture, and/or Shutter values to correspond with your camera settings.
- The priority mode will automatically switch to Aperture or Shutter when adjusting the respective value.
- Tap anywhere on the camera's preview screen to measure and update the exposure values.
You can easily switch between priority modes by simply tapping on the desired Shutter or Aperture values.
Settings:
- Access the general "iOS Settings" on your device.
- Scroll down until you locate "Lightmate".
- Choose a different EV scale (such as full stops, 1/2 stops, or 1/3 stops) according to your preference for Aperture, Shutter Speed, or ISO values.
